Hey Guys!

As you may or may not know, Dim Mak Collection and Urban Outfitters had a love child!  

Actually, they had two.  Fraternal Twins!  Welcome, In Your Face Tee and In Your Face Tank!  They are a-dorable and totally cuddle-able.  But like all newborns, these guys have kept me up nights ALL WEEK… and weekend, unfortunately.

DMC x UO party May 17th @ Space 1520!!

When they first arrived on Tuesday, I was like, “Oooh! Awww! Yayyyy!! They’re finally here!!”   Then, surprise, surprise, they needed all this attention, and i was like, “Oh.  Um.  You want me to… You mean I have to… do that?  All by myself??”

 Man, I mean Urban was great in bed and everything, and yeah we made some good lookin’ babies, but Urban’s in Philly, and I’m in New York, and Grandpa Steve is probably in an airport terminal in Germany or something, and the rest of the family is in LA… so, really it was just me this week, folding and tagging and swaddling the kids in polybags.  Being a single parent is hard, yo!! 

Here’s how it went down, in pictures… the DMC x UO Family Album: Week One. 

Our very first sonogram.  It’s a boy! 

At first they were totally chill.  They took up a lot of room sure, but they just kind of hung out. 

Then they were like, “Wahh, stack me, fold me, tag me, boo hoo.” 

Skylar and Johnny Rad from Kemado Records’ “Children” ( http://www.kemado.com ) brought their lil’ one by for a play date.

…A face only a mother could love.  We listened to Scooby Doo’s “Best of Slayer” covers album and ate pizza. 

Half a pizza, three-quarters of a 40, and 8 hours later, at 3 am on Thursday morning, they were tagged, stacked, and tucked in for the night.  

The next day, we got them all gussied up so they would be ready to go to their father’s on Friday.  *Note the picture of Freddy Kruger chillin’ with Tupac on the back wall*

… But that’s what love is. 

Almost ready to go!  

Take note of the twine wrapped around each little stack.  Please, for the love of mike, someone take note.  After we tagged and folded everything, they had to be stacked into groups of six ( with 2 smalls, 2 mediums, 1 large, and 1 xl), tied up, and boxed. 

…Finally, we got the kids all saddled up, strapped in, and out the door.  

They’ll be in Urban Outfitters stores and online at Urbanoutfitters.com (in super duper limited numbers) starting May 17th!  Go say hi to them and give them all a big hug for me.
