Congorock’s debut single “Runark” is a buzzing four-and-a-half minutes of heart-attack breakbeats, ghetto house thump, and Sega Genesis synthesizer madness. The chunky anthem serves as a perfect calling card for this young producer, who in the space of a few months went from drumming in a hardcore band, to chopping up beats with his mentor Bob Rifo of the Bloody Beetroots, to producing hyperactive remixes for the likes of Rex The Dog and Boys Noize Records’ DJ Edotronic while touring the globe off the strength of his sweaty and imaginative DJ sets.
“Runark” comes backed with an awesomely proggy remix by FG labelmates Jokers Of The Scene, as well as the jacking Congorock originals “Exodus” and “Hybro,” all wrapped up in psychomystical sleeve art from Dust La Rock. The digital release also features an exclusive new “Runark” mix by His Majesty Andre (Cheap Thrills). More new Congorockers coming soon, so stay tuned…

NOISE POP IS A WONDERFUL THING!
DON’T FORGET - From Monument To Masses will be headlining San Francisco’s Bottom of the Hill THIS THURSDAY, February 26, as a part of the Bay’s 17th annual Noise Pop Festival. If you live in in the San Francisco area, you really need to go to this show - it’s going to be a real good one!
The festival prides itself on providing exposure to emerging artists, many of whom have gone on to widespread acclaim, including the White Stripes, Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips, Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins, Bright Eyes, The Donnas, Jeff Tweedy (of Wilco) and Silversun Pickups.
It’s the perfect place for From Monument To Masses to kick off its support for “On Little Known Frequencies”, their eagerly-anticipated fourth full-length release on Dim Mak / Downtown Records (Due2/24 on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, etc. and March 10 in stores) which they recorded and produced with Seattle, Washington’s Matt Bayles (Minus The Bear, Russian Circles, Mastodon).
The show will be the first time the band has played in its hometown since Dec. 1, 2007. They’re joined by fellow Bay Area indie rock staples Crime in Choir (GSL) and Built for the Sea. Follow the link for show details and to buy advance tickets now (strongly recommended).

Our boy Felix officially signed to Dim Mak today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve Aoki was there to commemorate the occasion
Felix got the Touch Of Death from Steve as he signed his soul to Dim Mak….
Started mid-2007, SPA quickly broke through thanks to the demo of Pets Dance which had the gut of an immediate anthem. Supported by London based XFM and Radio 1, then by the Ed Banger crew, SPA signed to DIM MAK mid-2008, and got a few remixes out for Mickey Moonlight (Ed Banger), Pacifc! (EMI) and Neimo (Shangri La) to name but a few.
SPA’s debut single “Pets Dance” is OUT NOW! Be the first to purchase your own piece of history with a purchase of the single on vinyl (available digitally / CD on Feb. 24th). The single is backed up an exclusive tune “Dumbo”, and remixes from LES PETITS PILOUS (BOYS NOIZE), The Bloody Beetroots, and Steve Aoki (DIM MAK). Guess what!?! RCRDLBL has a free download courtesy of DIM MAK Records, “Pets Dance” remixed by Steve Aoki! Check it out here & SPA on RCRDLBL.COM!
SPA also released this for your viewing pleasure (view with caution)!
