DIM MAK JOINES FORCES WITH SANSA TO THROW HUGE THREE DAY PARTY!!!
Dim Mak is gearing up to throw it’s biggest SXSW party ever. We’ve teamed up with the good people over at Sansa along with our buddies over at BPM and MAGNUM to bring you three booze filled days of fun in Austin, TX as we present you the SANSA PLAYGROUND! We finally have the line-up and set times to share with you. Make sure to RSVP to AUSTIN2008@DIMMAK.COM. The event is located at The Elks Lodge (700 Dawson Road), but don’t worry we’re not expecting you to walk it from downtown. We’ll be providing FREE shuttle bus rides to and from the event starting at 1PM each day. The pick-up location is at 303 Red River Street. Shuttle buses leave every 20 minutes. For those of you wanting to take in a little more of the city in open air, we’ll also have FREE pedi-cabs rides running intermittently all day long to and from the event as well. Oh by the way that’s not the only perk you get, all guests will have access to the Olympic size swimming pool on the premises, bring a bathing suit if you want to dive in. We’ll also have an assortment of other goodies for you to get into like mechanical bull rides and free food and open bar cocktails/beer/drinks all day long as well as some sweet raffles where you have the chance to win some pretty major goods. Here is a video I took of Alex Ridha of Boys Noize in Perth. I was on my Australia Tour December of 07. First date of the tour was in Perth which is one of the most remote cities in the entire world so I heard. There was three big shows going on at the same time in this small city. One was Boys Noize and Switch, one was me and Serge Santiago and the other was some other Belgium dj that we all had dinner with that night. Before all our gigs we all sat down for some Thai food, played pool at the dude from Pendulum’s house, then I came to see Alex dj… (here) then went to my gig. Here it is….

Dim Mak is making it’s triumphant return to our home-away-from-home Austin, Texas for the week of SXSW. We’re kicking it all off with our official showcase on Wednesday night at the lovely Beatuy Bar! On hand from Dim Mak we’ll have live performances from The Willowz and The Deadly Syndrome and a DJ set from our head honcho, Steve Aoki. Also joining us for the earlier part of the night are Fluokids, Aaron Lacrate, Crunc Tesla and Ghosthustler. Those sets start at 8PM and The Willowz go on around midnight and The Deadly Syndrome go on around 1AM. Come early because we’re going to have lots of goodies to pass out to all the Dim Mak fans/buddies. You just may get yourself some free shoes, cool headphones, Dim Mak cds/vinyl and we may even buy you a free drink. FYI: You’ll need a badge or pay the cover to get into the showcase.
